Eunisell Limited, a leading Africa-focused specialty chemicals and oil and gas solutions company, has just added another award to its kitty of achievements. The company was given an award for Longest Front-of-Shirt Sponsor in the History of the Nigerian Professional Football League, NPFL. The award event, which took place at Sheraton Hotel, Ikeja, on Tuesday, November 28, 2017, was organized by the NPFL Bloggers.

According to the organizers of the event, this is a Special Recognition Award for Eunisell’s consistent sponsorship of Rivers United Football Club and contribution to the growth of NPFL. Receiving the award, Mr. Kalu Uma, who represented the company’s Group Managing Director, Mr. Chika Ikenga, commended the organizers for the League Bloggers Awards (LBA), an initiative conceived to celebrate outstanding players, managers and corporate bodies promoting the development of the NPFL.

Mr. Uma, on behalf of the GMD and the Eunisell team, thanked the organizers and pledged Eunisell’s unwavering support to Rivers United FC and the entire NPFL”. Uma said he hopes to see more corporate sponsorship of Nigerian football clubs, to make the league more attractive. He urged other companies to toe the line of Eunisell, a company that is already making history as a shirt sponsor.

In his words: “Our desire is that by this time next year, we will have more people following the league, so that our league will become more attractive and profitable”.

Only recently, Eunisell renewed its shirt sponsorship deal with Rivers United FC for the 2017/2018 football season.
